ROSERUNE can be used as part of a daily skincare regime to maintain soft, supple and moisturised skin anywhere on the body and can also be massaged into the scalp.

Beeswax and honey form a semi-occlusive barrier protecting skin from external irritants, locking in moisture and helping to soothe the itch.

Rich in a multitude of Vitamins A, C, D & E, nutrients and anti-oxidants, as well as essential fatty acids (EFAs), which are responsible for the upkeep of the skin barrier function. They also support the maintenance of strong, healthy cell membranes and help keep the epidermis working effectively to lock in vital moisture and nutrients, whilst keeping out environmental irritants that can trigger itching and inflammation in sensitive, delicate or damaged skin.

People with dry skin conditions are often deficient in these beneficial oils so delivering a dose of topically applied EFAs directly to the skin helps to support the natural function of the epidermis healthily.

Beeswax, Honey, Propolis and Pollen contain a multitude of vitamins and minerals and help to create an antimicrobial barrier. Beeswax –  The fatty acids contained in beeswax are essential in manufacturing and repairing cell membranes, enabling cells to obtain optimum nutrition and expel harmful waste products. Beeswax is also rich in Vitamin E & A.

Bee Propolis contains as many as 300 active compounds. Propolis is known to have a wide range of anti-microbial properties. In fact, the name propolis comes from the Greek meaning “defense of the city.”

Honey Rich in enzymes, contains a specific enzyme known as glucose oxidase which becomes active when honey is diluted with bodily fluids.

Pollen contains bountiful amounts of vitamins, especially Vitamin B12 and E. It has 22 amino acids and 27 minerals including zinc, calcium, copper, magnesium and iron.

Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil  – Sunflower Oil is extremely high in Vitamin E. It is also rich in vitamins A, C and D and healthy carotenoids and waxes which form a protective barrier on the skin as well as having anti-inflammatory benefits. Being exceptionally light and non-greasy, it gets absorbed into the skin easily, without clogging or blocking the pores. Its range of vitamins and fatty acids act as antioxidants to regenerate the skin cells and help the skin get rid of acne causing bacteria as well as being effective against skin which may be prone to eczema, general redness and irritation of the skin.

Cold Pressed Avocado Oil with its strong moisturizing properties that penetrate deep into the skin, has been shown to be helpful for many skin conditions such as acne and eczema as well as psoriasis. It is also effective to help reduce itchiness and improve appearance.

Avocado oil is one of the most penetrative of all natural plant oils. Unlike most moisturizers and many other natural oils, it is believed to penetrate through the epidermis and into the dermis layer of our skin thereby nourishing and moisturising deep down.

This results in extremely soft and hydrated skin and, due to its humectant properties that prevent drying out, this moisturizing effect is long-lasting.

For Dry Skin apply lightly and gently massage into the skin so that the product is easily and quickly absorbed A little goes a long way.

We recommend using for at least 6 to 12 weeks 3 times a day or more if required to obtain the optimal benefits from the vitamins and nutrients in the product or just as required. Skin takes 27 to 35 days to regenerate.

As a precaution as with any skincare always do a skin patch test checking for a reaction or allergies to bee products.

Although our Balm is suitable for the most sensitive skin, please be aware that when using different skincare products,skin can sometimes rebel and flare up. In some cases, a gradual change in moisturising regime is more suitable, but use it as best suits your skin and as and when required.

ROSERUNE balm can also be used to cleanse the skin avoiding soaps when required. We recommend applying a liberal amount on to the skin and taking a warm wet flannel wiping away the excess. This leaves the skin soft and pliant and then when dry applying as usual a small amount as needed and gently massaging into the skin, so it is easily and quickly absorbed. ROSERUNE does not need to be layered thickly on the skin. Little but often works best.

For Dry Scalp apply to the fingertips and gently massage well into the dry scalp avoiding the hair as much as possible as it may leave the hair a little greasy,leave in overnight or at least 30 minutes or leave in if it feels comfortable as required.

When ready to shampoo, foam up the shampoo in your hand with a tiny bit of water then add to dry hair and massage well in then fully rinse. Shampoo again and fully rinse as required. All ages.
